Meet Our Medical Honoree
Patrick Sullivan, MD
Iowa native Dr. Patrick Sullivan joined DMOS in 1987. Dr. Sullivan developed considerable expertise in hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery by additional study in a traveling joint fellowship at several joint replacement centers in both the United States and Europe. These include the Charnley Institute in England, the site of the first modern total joint. He was also fortunate enough to have Dr. Richard Johnston, who did the first total hip replacement in Iowa, as a mentor.Read more of Dr. Sullivan's story
